You can now rate Standerton SAPS’ service delivery

The community service centre will have rating slips, which can be deposited at the CSC entrance upon completion.

The SAPS recently implemented measures to improve its service delivery by allowing the public to rate their services.

According to a statement released by Captain Braam Robberts, the communications officer for the Standerton SAPS, every station and office will have a poster with a QR code.

“The community service centre will have rating slips, which can be deposited at the CSC entrance upon completion,” explained Robberts.

Any complaints, suggestions and recommendations can be handed in, too, via this process. Management will remove the slips from a locked box daily and deal with them accordingly.

Officers on duty must have a name tag displaying their surnames and must show their appointment certificates, should they be requested.

The community is welcome to ask questions or indicate what matters require further explanation to ensure open and transparent service delivery.

“Conflict sometimes arises due to misinterpretations or a lack of understanding, and we would like to improve our relationship by addressing such matters,” added Robberts.

The release states that being identified is not compulsory.

However, when service delivery is compromised, the SAPS needs to obtain a statement from the victim, allowing them to start investigating these cases.

“Your contribution matters to us. We are here to serve and protect,” concluded Robberts.
