TNT Standerton fighter claims convincing points victory

TNT Standerton’s Ewald Engelbrecht delivered an impressive performance to defeat Heubie van der Walt of Dominators Den on points at the Apex South fight event in Alberton on August 1.

Ewald Engelbrecht of TNT Standerton claimed a convincing points victory over Heubie van der Walt of Dominators Den at the Apex South fight event held in Alberton on August 1.

Engelbrecht impressed throughout the bout with disciplined technique, effective pressure and strong ring control, winning two of the three rounds on the judges’ scorecards.

The judges awarded the fight to the young Standerton boxer after a composed all-round performance.

TNT Standerton head coach Thian van den Berg praised Engelbrecht’s dedication and commitment to training.

“I see a great future for the young man because he never skips training and always gives his all when he trains,” said Van den Berg.

The victory is another encouraging step in Engelbrecht’s development and reflects the promising talent emerging from the TNT Standerton camp.
