The local SAPS and moral regeneration stakeholders held a 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children campaign at eMzinoni Phuthuma’s open place next to the police station on November 21.
The event introduced the station commander and encouraged the community to report criminal activities. Stakeholders like the eMzinoni CPF, traditional leaders and the eMzinoni SAPS distributed about 150 pamphlets.
They spoke to about 160 community members, and 10 people were elected to form part of the community in blue.
