Azalea Combined hosts reading comprehension day
The Stanwest Public Library brought the books for the day.

Azalea Combined School hosted a reading comprehension day for their learners on March 12. Learners from Grade Four to Grade Seven gathered in the church hall opposite the school to watch their friends read aloud.
“The purpose of the reading comprehension is to teach learners to be better public speakers,” explained Alex Mwelase, organiser of the event.
The Stanwest Public Library brought the books for the day. Kholofelo Moabelo of the Stanwest public library encouraged the learners to read for enjoyment.
She taught them how to properly handle books and how to read properly for comprehension. After completing their reading pages, each learner received a certificate and medal for their exceptional reading skills.
