Shooters compete in two-day competition in Trichardt

Shooters aimed for the top spots in the Mpumalanga Practical Shooting Association provincial level three shoot at the Teks Shooting Club from February 7 to 9.
Peter Mapstone was in first place and received the president’s medal in the classic super senior division. In second place was Aubrey Plein with Abraham Janse van Vuuren in third.
In the classic senior, Albert Wessels was first and received the president’s medal. Second place was Dion du Bruyn and third was Tinus Botha.
André Marias received the president’s medal and first place in the classic overall division. In second place was Jurgens Schoeman and in third place was Johan Wheeler.
In the production optics super senior division Hendrik Engelbrecht was first place and received the president’s medal.

Jonathan Fouché was in second and Bertus Dreyer in third. Neil Taylor was the first-place winner and received the president’s medal in the production optic senior division.
Second place was Herman Combrink and third was Wyn Robertson. First place and receiving the president’s medal in the production optics junior was Lehan Potgieter.
In second place was Aryana Osman and third was Lea Brits. In the production optics women seniors, Alicia Struwig was first, Karin Booysen second and Janita Kruger third.
Kirsty Bohler was first in the production optics women’s division and received the president’s medal. In second place was Marelize Boshoff with Landri Dreyer in third place.
Hilfred Siebrits received the president’s medal and first place in the production optics overall division. Second place was Lehan Potgieter and third place was Runa van Heerden.

In the production super senior division, Kobus Breytenbach was first. He also received the president’s medal. Second was Louis Fourie and third was Wayne Hammond.
The production senior division was won by Wilhelm Heyl who also received the president’s medal. In second place was Alan Betts and in third place was Ansley Naudé.
The production women’s winner and receiving the president’s medal was Karen Brown. Second was Jo-Ann Lithgow and third was Leanie Barnard.
The production overall winner was Johan Otto who received the president’s medal. In second place was Aeron Wecke and in third place was Clifford Goosen.
Jean Engelbrecht was the first-place winner and received the president’s medal in the standard senior division.
Philip Papadopoulos was second and third was Jose Cardoso.

In the standard women’s division, Eurika du Plooy was first followed by second place Joey Fischer and third place Sebella O’Donovan.
The standard overall winner was Abrie Preller. He also received the president’s medal. In second place was Ruan Beneke and in third place was Paul Loock.
Hubert Montgomery was the open super senior winner and received the president’s medal. Second place was Carlo Belleti with Joel Cohen in third place.
Pieter Bouwer received the president’s medal and first place in the open seniors division. Grant Cachia was second and Eddie Smith came third.
In the open overall division, Thomas Montgomery was first and received the president’s medal. In second place was Pieter Burger and third was Pieter Bouwer.
