The Leandra SAPS appeal for community help in identifying and apprehending the criminals involved in recent house robberies in the area.
According to Leandra police spokesperson, Constable Nontobeko Ngubeni, residents should remain vigilant because the criminals continue to target homes in the community.
Ngubeni confirmed that the SAPS opened a house robbery case after a woman in Lebohang was robbed while cooking in her home.
The victim reported hearing a knock on the door she had left unlocked while waiting for her husband to return from shopping. Two unknown men entered the house and asked for food. She told them the food was still being prepared.
One man pulled out a knife, threatened her, slapped her across the face and kicked her leg. Meanwhile, the second man went into the bedroom and searched the wardrobe.
