Lekwa hosts Livi Lemphakatsi workshop

This app was developed by the Mpumalanga Provincial Government to strengthen the reporting and tracking of service delivery across the province's local municipalities.

The Lekwa Local Municipality (LLM) hosted a workshop at the Standerton Town Hall on February 6, in collaboration with the customer care unit, to inform councillors, ward committees, and community development workers on how to use the Livi Lemphakatsi App.

This app was developed by the Mpumalanga Provincial Government to strengthen the reporting and tracking of service delivery across the province’s local municipalities.

According to Lubabalo Majenge, spokesperson for the LLM, participants were taken through the app’s features and equipped with the basic information needed to assist communities in using it.

The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, and residents can use it to log queries about local issues and track their progress.

“The municipality encourages all residents to download and utilise the Livi Lemphakatsi app as a convenient tool to report issuesand stay informed about municipal services,” stated Majenge.

This app can be used to report any municipal issue, from roads and electricity to even broken street lights.
