A woman was found murdered in a veld in Extension 23, eMmzinoni, early this morning (September 7).
According to eMzinoni Police Station communication officer, Sergeant Cynthia Mthsweni , the woman was stabbed multiple times.
Mtshweni said family members have already identified the woman’s body and confirmed her identity.
Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
The motive for the murder is not yet known.
