ATM bombing accused appear in Evander Regional Court
The Mpumalanga SAPS Cold Case Investigation Team’s intensive investigation into a series of ATM bombings in the province has resulted in this breakthrough last week.
The Evander Regional Court postponed the case against a trio suspected of numerous ATM bombings in the Govan Mbeki municipal area and the Witbank area to October 29.
Velenkosi Buthelezi, Alfredo Cossa and Anele Sigubu are facing charges of murder, attempted murder, possession of explosives, possession of unlicenced firearms and ammunition and endangering others or causing loss of life.
The Mpumalanga SAPS Cold Case Investigation Team’s intensive investigation into a series of ATM bombings in the province has resulted in this breakthrough last week.
The team revisited and investigated the cases, resulting in the identification and arrest of the trio aged between 20 and 38.
