A production piece, Ruth The Musical, will be performed in Secunda from May 15 to 16 at the Kruik Church.

The main character, Elsje Lourens, plays the role of a young woman called Chloe, who reads her mom’s journal and discovers the story of the Biblical Ruth.

“Ruth reminds me of one line Chloe says to Liam: ‘To stand against a world that’s all about cancelling people, you’ve got to be ruthful and not ruthless’,” said the actress, Lourens, about Ruth in this musical.

This musical tells the story about grace, redemption and hope.

The show on May 15, will begin at 18:30 and the show on May 16 will begin at 11:00.
