Farm schools can take part in soccer tournament

Organisers host tournament for second year.

The KC Ndhlovu Farm Schools Soccer Tournament will take place on June 6 at Roodebank Primary School.

This initiative was launched last year to develop soccer in farm schools in the Charl Cilliers area.

This year, the tournament will be bigger and young soccer players from four farm schools will take part.

The organisers are seeking sponsors to help cover the costs of food, drinks, tents, trophies, and prizes for the young players.

The first match on June 6 will kick off at 10:00, with Joubertsvlei and Mdibini facing off, while Roodebank and Muzimuhle will face off at 11:00.

The semi-final and final matches will be played at 13:00 and 14:00 respectively.

For more information or to become a sponsor, contact Phil Ndhlovu at 082 554 3959.
