Athletes braved the oncoming colder winter conditions and took part in the Standerton parkrun on May 16.
Anybody is welcome to take part in this event held every Saturday at 08:00 at Rivierpark.
People can complete this event at their own pace and choose to run or walk the 5km.
The event director, Lizette Jansen van Rensburg, thanked the volunteers, André Pieterse, Daniel Wright, Hugh Robertson, Noluthando Zweni, Renette de Sousa, Riekie Wolmarans, Séan Jansen van Rensburg, Sylvy Moodley and Zeldine Strydom for their dedication.
