EVANDER – It was a busy week for Walker Park Golf Club that hosted a corporate golf day on Wednesday, 12 March, as well as their club championships over the weekend.
The winners for the corporate golf day were Ronald Torien, Ricky Beselaar, Troy Venter and Casper Badenhorst.
They made 111.
The format was a scramble drive with two scores to count.
The winner of the club championship in the women’s division that was held over the weekend, was Fienie Siebrits who played a total of 183.
The winner of the club championship in the men’s division was Andre van Heerden with a total 138.
Andre is the overall winner and club champion for 2014.
Thys Swart came second in the men’s division with a total of 141 points.
