Secunda Stars FC ready for new soccer season
ABC Motsepe League kicks off on 27 September.
eMBALENHLE – Secunda Stars FC players will swing into action when the ABC Motsepe League kicks off on 27 Septmber after a three month break.
The third-ranked national league is hosted by all nine provinces with 16 clubs competing for the provincial championships.
The winner of each province will qualify for the ABC Motsepe League national playoffs for promotion to the National First Division.
The South African Football Association’s head office was finalising the teams’ fixtures and venues at the time of going to press.
The Govan Mbeki municipal area is represented by Secunda Stars and eMzinoni All Stars FC.
The clubs have been keeping their players fit and focused by arranging pre-season friendly matches.
