64 players challenge Graceland golf course

Knock out participants receive prizes.

SECUNDA – Eric Nkosi is the men’s champion with a 156 gross during the annual Graceland Club Championships that took place on 14 and 15 March at Graceland Casino, Hotel and Country Club.

Altogether 64 players challenged the golf course playing in different divisions.

Martin Smalberger came second place in the men’s champion and the women’s champion is Sandra Spies with 181 gross.

The golf course was in an immaculate condition.

The winners of the other divisions were as follow: Men’s B Division: David Hall (166 gross), Men’s C Division: T Boonzaaier (71 IPS), Women’ B Division: Renet van Biljon and Women’s C Division: Breggie Maritz.

Jannie Pretorius and Peet van Zyl won the Cloete Architects doubles knock out last year and the runners-up were O. Moosa and Z. Rasool.

The Armstrong singles knock out participants were also given their prizes.

Chris Janse van Rensburg was the winner and the runner-up was Mobeen Dhorat.

In third and fourth places were Pieter Malinga and Danie Kruger.
