Secunda M Stars beat Volksrust’s Mjali All Stars

Secunda M Stars FC secured a crucial 1–0 home victory against Volksrust’s Mjali All Stars FC on October 3.

The tightly contested Motsepe Foundation Championship regional league encounter took place at Risko Fakude Stadium in eMbalenhle, the Stars’ official home ground.

The home side broke the deadlock early, netting the decisive and only goal of the match during a thrilling first half.

Recognising the threat posed by the visitors, Secunda M Stars immediately adapted their strategy, strengthening both their defensive line and counter-attacking units to protect the fragile lead.

In the second half, Mjali All Stars FC fought back aggressively, throwing numbers forward in a desperate attempt to find an equaliser.

However, despite creating several close chances, they were unable to break through the Stars’ stubborn defence or see the back of the net before the final whistle.
