Cullinan Secondary School celebrated their matric farewell on Thursday, 21 October.
It was held at Victorian Manor, which suited perfectly with their “modern mafia” theme.
There were 34 Grade 12’s in style, 15 staff members and 12 Grade 10 and 11 helpers who posed as waiters.
During the function, Ms Elmien White. who was the organiser, had the learners engaged with a game. The game was to catch the double agents that were part of the mafia and police.
Everyone were given clues recovered from “undercover agents” and they had to engage with each other to figure out who are these double agents.
“It worked even better than I expected, I should have had more double agents,” said Ms White.
Victorian Manor treated them with portable dining that consisted of small portions of four starters, five main courses and five deserts for each guest.
“The food is absolutely delicious and way too much,” said Mrs Gertrude Mathata.
Learners showed up in fancy cars and even used the local Culli Uber.
The DJ, who matriculated recently, said “ I enjoyed this matric farewell more than I enjoyed mine”.
The learners danced and took beautiful photos at the venue, inside and outside in the beautiful garden.
