SA siblings represent in LA drama champs

The three Wills siblings qualified to represent South Africa at the Drama World Championships in Los Angeles earlier this year. Cameron (Grade 9), Kaelin (Grade 6) and Crystal (Grade 4) worked extremely hard to qualify for the South African team. The hard work and dedication paid off and what a wonderful achievement for the Wills family having their children participating in this prestigious event!
During the first part of the competition in Los Angeles the pupils competed for medals. Crystal received five silver medals for her individual items and Kaelin was awarded with four gold and one silver medal for his individual performances. In the category for groups, the three Wills siblings received four silver and a bronze medal.
The second part was the showcase event where the quarter-, semi- and final rounds took place. All age groups were mixed. Crystal was one of thirteen semi-finalists acting in a group during the second part of the competition.
Kaelin was chosen for the final showcase where the top three actors were selected to perform. During this section of the competition, Kaelin received his fifth gold medal. He was also awarded three trophies as Champion of the World Junior Actor in Dramatic, Contemporary as well as in the Open categories.
