Early festive season operations in full swing

A total of 72 suspects were arrested during an early festive season operation by Honeydew Police.

 

Early festive season police operations have begun to yield the desired outcome for authorities following a large number of arrests by the Honeydew Police in the period from 30 October to 6 November.

The spokesperson for the Honeydew Police Station, Captain Balan Muthan, indicated that a total of 72 suspects were arrested in the policing precinct for various crimes.

He said the offences ranged from possession of drugs, common assault, and drunken driving, to attempted murder, rape, theft and arson.

“Festive season operations are ongoing with random roadblocks and stop and search projects,” Muthan warned the general public.
