A man from Middelvlei’s birthday wish is to feed hundreds of needy families.

Wiekus de Beer, a member of Turn To Eternal Life Bible Ministries, who celebrated his 56th birthday on 8 May said his birthday wish is to raise as much money as possible to feed the hungry people on their data list.

According to Wiekus, they have already reached out to many families.

“My target is R350 000 so that we can feed 1 000 families, but presently the amount stands at R5 000.”

Wiekus said with just R350 they can feed a family for 20 days, hence, he is asking for a money donation.
