Teen animal lover embarks on project to feed four-legged friends
The Grade 11 Hoërskool Monument learner explained how she plans to aid the Roodepoort/ Krugersdorp SPCA
The Covid-19 pandemic has not only exposed extreme poverty among civil society, but also the dire conditions non-profit organisations are facing.
Animal lover Dominique Dos Ramos understand this.
“This year it’s my mission to lend the Roodepoort/ Krugersdorp SPCA a helping hand,” she said.

“It has been laid on my heart to help our four-legged friends, as the SPCA has lost most of its sponsors due to lockdown.”
The Grade 11 Hoërskool Monument learner explained how she plans to aid the Roodepoort/ Krugersdorp SPCA – with a bit of help from the public, of course.
“We are planning a collection to help the SPCA to get in some supplies. We would love to collect and donate dog food, cat food, blankets, old newspaper, kennels (new/ used), etc,” she listed, encouraging animal lovers to make at least a single donation to the cause.
“It’s an incredible opportunity to help because these animals are looking at rough and possibly short lives without our help,” she concluded.
