Roodepoort Sentrum vir Bejaardes receives a welcome donation
"I received more than 400 face masks from an organisation called Masked Angels. I donated these masks to the Roodepoort Sentrum vir Bejaardes"
A Good Samaritan was in a position to bless the older residents of his community when he received a donation of more than 400 face masks.
Nassif Kader who is part of an organisation called Masks 4 All explained.
“I received more than 400 face masks from an organisation called Masked Angels. I donated these masks to the Roodepoort Sentrum vir Bejaardes, an old age home in Discovery. As I delivered the masks at the retirement village, I was received by management who could not thank everyone involved enough, as about two months ago they had been scammed out of R40 000 by someone who was supposed to deliver masks to them.”
Jolene Peyper, the centre’s manager said, “Thank you Masked Angels, that we can use your handiwork to protect us. This kind gesture is greatly appreciated.”
Nassif added that Masked Angels are in need of assistance to ensure the project can continue and said, “Masked Angels provides masks to various organisations and those less fortunate but, to ensure they can continue doing what they do, they need the community’s time and sewing skills, as well as sponsorships and donations”.
