Florida Police Station closed for decontamination

Full services will resume on Monday, 22 June

According to a post on the Florida Community Policing Forum’sFacbook page, the Florida Police Station charge office has been closed due to a positive Covid-19 case.

In the post, those who need to make use of a service offered by the Community Service Centre are urged to visit the Detectives offices located at the rear of the police station until 20 June.

These services include opening cases and reporting crimes.

Full services will resume on Monday, 22 June, and community members were informed that no certifications and affidavits will be done until then.

Should there be an emergency, community members should call 10111 or post on community groups for assistance.
