Honeydew Police Station closed for decontamination

The Community Service Centre (CSC) will be operating from the old ops room, which is the Finance block

Honeydew Police Station has again been closed temporarily, this time for decontamination due to a Covid-19 related incident.

“All communities serviced by Honeydew Police Station are advised that the police station has been closed temporarily for decontamination after one of its members tested positive for Covid- 19,” the Provincial Police spokesperson Brigadier Matapelo Peters confirmed.

She advised that the Community Service Centre (CSC) will be operating from the old ops room, which is the Finance block.

“The community is advised to call 10111 for all complaints and emergencies that need to be attended to by Honeydew Police Station,” she urged as telephone line at the CSC will be inaccessible for the duration of the closure.

“The building will be undergoing decontamination and the community will be informed when the station will be operational again,” Peters explained.

“The police management apologises for any inconvenience that may arise from this,” she said.

For any further inquiries regarding the station, contact the Station Commander on 0827789065 or communications officer on 082 323 9797.
