News received reports that shots were fired during an apparent cash-in-transit (CIT) heist in Chamdor on Monday evening, November 15.
According to reports, the victim, said to be a young man, allegedly followed the suspect/s on his motorbike. When the suspect/s noticed him they opened fire and shot him twice. He was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
In a video sent to the News, a vehicle can be seen burning and what looks like a blown up van while there was a heavy police presence.
The News reached out to Kagiso and provincial police but they could not immediately give comment.
