Thugs steal dog during house robbery

The whitish-champagne Pekingese was stolen along with a vehicle during a house robbery.

A Little Falls couple is appealing to the public to help find their Pekingese after it was dognapped during an armed robbery.

Mandi Meyer Coetsee said that on December 8, three thugs broke into her parents’ house on Montrose Avenue just after 21:00.

“They tied them up and went through their stuff. They took what they wanted and what they could get their hands on. They took the car and the dog. The dog was barking at them but we are not sure if she was already in the car and they just drove off with her, or if they actually took her.”

The dog answers to the name ‘Bella’ and is a one-year-old Pekingese. Bella is whitish-champagne in colour. Community members are urged to keep their eyes out for Bella. Unfortunately she has not been chipped.

The stolen vehicle is a white Suzuki Ertiga. Contact Mandi Meyer Coetsee on 071 570 2316
