Is it really enough to give your child a tablet and call it a day? Lingens said education technology is required to develop personalised learning schemes, help develop software and hardware skills, and assess the student’s milestones. It is also a tool to monitor progress.
Education technology plays an important role in supporting students to develop their employability skills and foster lifelong digital literacy. As a parent or guardian, encourage your child not only to play games on their tablets and computers, but to research how they are made, engage in technology forums and to investigate how their dream job will be affected by technology in the future.
