Former matric ready to pursue her dreams

'It's important to always keep a good mind no matter what life throws at you.'

After a long wait during the summer holiday, the 2021 matrics finally got their results. Many have high hopes for the future and are excited to take their first steps into the adult world.

Former Hoërskool Roodepoort learner, Aaisha le Roux is no exception as she can’t wait to start her own career in the business world.

“I think we went through so much. I’m just so thankful for my friends and peers who pushed me to do my best – especially during those times I really didn’t think I’d make it. I learnt that you should always put in effort everywhere you can because it pays off,” she said.

“It’s important to always keep a good mind no matter what life throws at you.”

Since Aaisha has always been business-minded she hopes to study business management at either the University of Johannesburg or the University of the Witwatersrand.

“My aim is to open franchises anywhere and everywhere all over South Africa. I want to create job opportunities and help others in the process too. I am super-excited about my future and can’t wait to tackle all the challenges life throws at me,” she said.

The Record wishes Aaisha only the best of luck on her road to success and trusts that she will reach every goal she sets out to achieve.
