Skye College lost in space

Learners took their parents on an inter-planetary adventure through dance on September 10.

Beginning preparations in February, Skye College held their school play at the NG Kerk Weltevreden on Cornelius Street. Titled ‘Lost in Space’ the learners, guided by their teachers used the vastness of the solar system to relay the importance of that which is most personally unique.

Each of the nine classes performed a choreographed dance that conveyed one of several emotions, with each grade displaying a different feeling. The emotional journey reflected the trek between planets, showing the complexity of human capacity and self-discovery mirrored as a voyage across the stars.
