Police call for information after body found in Fleurhof

Florida police have urged community members to come forward with relevant information following the discovery of a body in Odendaal Street, Fleurhof.

According to acting station commander Lieutenant Colonel Ivy Mabuso, the body was discovered lying in shallow water under the bridge along Odendaal Street.

“We are investigating a case of murder,” says Mabuso, adding that the body was found with the hands and feet of the victim bound with plastic.

“We appeal to the public to come forward with any relevant information that might assist with police investigations into this matter.

“Residents can contact their nearest police station, or call the police crime stop number on 08600 10111, or use the MySAPS App to provide tip-offs anonymously.”
