The Southern African Christian Schools Sport Association (SACSSA) Junior Six-a-Side Soccer Championships took place on June 7, at The King’s School West Rand. A total of 47 teams from eight SACSSA regions, along with a team from Botswana, participated in the daylong tournament.

The competition was strong in the U9 category, with Saints A from Vaal West taking first place. Ruimsig, representing Region G7, took second, while Robin Hills, also from G7, and Alberton (Gauteng) finished third and fourth, respectively.
West Rand G7 clinched the top spot after a series of competitive matches. Robin Hills followed in second place. Joy House from KZN finished third, with Saint A from Vaal in fourth place.

The boys’ U13 division was dominated by the KZN teams. Joy House took first place, and Saint Leo followed closely behind in second place. Third place was taken by Destiny Gauteng, and the Academy from Magaliesburg came in fourth.
The Girls U13 category included seven teams. Saints A (Vaal West) emerged as champions, followed by Saint Leo KZN in second. Saints B (Vaal West) placed third, with West Rand (G7) in fourth.

Covenant (Gauteng), Robin Hills (G7) and Alberton (Gauteng) completed the rankings. After the teams competed in various categories, awards and trophies were awarded to teams in each category.
