Body found in Fleurhof still unidentified
Florida police are seeking assistance to identify a body that was found in Fleurhof.
The body of the man that was found next to the Fleurhof power station has not yet been identified at the government mortuary.
The body was found in March, and community members allegedly heard gunshots the night before.
According to Florida Police Station Commander Colonel Lefa Tsotetsi, the real cause of death has not yet been confirmed and a case of murder has been opened.
“Yes, it is confirmed that the body was found at Fleurhof next to the power station. It is the body of an unknown African male dressed in blue and green shorts, a black T-shirt and black jacket,” he said.
The Florida police are requesting anyone who knows or is aware of the incident to anonymously contact 10111 or contact Tsotetsi at 079 034 4192.
