Double life sentence for Mark Harvey

Justice prevails as Mark Harvey receives two life sentences for the murder of Marishka Davids (30) and Zakkiyah Rayman (38).

Sighs of relief with tears of joy were flowing for the Davids and Rayman families as they could finally be at peace, knowing that the monster who brought grief to them would be locked up for the rest of his life.

Mark Brian Harvey (44) was arrested for the murder of Marishka Davids (30) and Zakkiyah Rayman (38) after he doused them both with petrol and set them alight in the early hours of February 11, 2024 in Florida. After being on the run, he was later arrested in Bellavista on February 19, 2024.

Ismail further elaborated that South Africa’s favorite sport is, unfortunately, the killing and abuse of women, which seems to increase rapidly.

Harvey received two life sentences for the murder of Marishka Davids and Zakkiyah Rayman, with an additional seven years for arson, and five years for housebreaking.

“After 12 months of going back and forth, we are so relieved that this monster who deprived the children of both Zakkiyah and Marishka and deprived us of our daughter will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

“This should be a lesson to all that, doing something this inhumane, you will reap the consequences,” said Marishka’s mother, Mandy Davids.
