Officials found a drug house, a vehicle chop shop and a stolen Toyota Hilux on the premises.

Horison — A massive illegal cannabis operation and a vehicle chop shop were discovered in Horison earlier in April, after security officials received reports about a stolen Toyota Hilux.

A multidisciplinary team, comprising Help24 Secure TRU, Capital Air, Roodepoort Vispol Police, Tracker SA, and Fidelity FBIC, swiftly sprang into action, following leads that ultimately led to a house in the Horison vicinity.

Upon executing a tactical plan to breach the premises, the team saw a shocking discovery. Inside the property, they found various stolen motor parts, including the reported Toyota Hilux, as well as other vehicles linked to crimes. A large quantity of false number plates was also seized.

Furthermore, an illegal cannabis operation, which was being run from the same property, was successfully foiled. One person was arrested and handed over to the police.
