Suspect arrested in 14-year-old’s murder case

A man will appear in court for the murder of 14-year-old Likhona Fose.

A 39-year-old man was arrested in the murder case of 14-year-old Likhona Fose, whose mutilated body was discovered in a veld near her home on June 1.

According to provincial police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mavelo Masondo, the suspect, who was taken in for questioning on June 9, has since been charged with murder.

The suspect will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, June 11.

“The police’s Occult Unit has been working hard to find the perpetrators following the gruesome murder of Fose.

“One person was taken in for questioning and then linked to the murder and charged accordingly.”
