UPDATE: Robbers empty-handed after heist

The scene is still active as police continue with their investigation.

The perpetrators of this morning’s cash-in-transit (CIT) robbery on Main Reef Road did not manage to get away with any money.

According to a preliminary report from Lieutenant Colonel Sipho Dlamini of the Florida Police Station, the scene remains active as police continue their investigation.
