Power still out
Chairpersons from different housing complexes in Radiokop gathered to find a solution to a problem that seems hopeless.
Roodepoort is still in a dire situation regarding the many areas that are still struggling without power.
This is what prompted eight chairpersons from Radiokop to gather to try and find a solution for this ongoing struggle.
According to Martin Herman from Gobabis complex, the power switches off per the load-shedding schedule, however, it fails to turn on again. He further stated the schedule sent by the municipality is not reliable.

The lack of response on calls being logged to City Power is another cause for concern for residents, as they feel there is a lack of communication and when they can reach a person from City Power, they are simply told they don’t know why the power is still off. As a result, residents are questioning the skill set of the people in authority positions.

The Northsider spoke to Isaac Mangena from Johannesburg City Power, who referred us to Zaheera Walker, however, we are still waiting for a comment from Walker at the time of this publication.
