Crawford Ruimsig hosts annual Prestige Awards

The parents of the Grade 8 to 11 learners of 2022 were invited to celebrate the exceptional achievements of their children at this prestigious event.

Crawford International Ruimsig held their annual Prestige Awards Ceremony in the Grand Hall on Friday, January 20, where they honoured various academic accolades, as well as cultural, sports, and service achievements that were attained in 2022.

Crawford’s Dux Scholar for 2022, Gabriella Liontarides, who achieved a Full House of Distinctions, was awarded her Dux Scholar Trophy. This award is given to the Top Learner of the previous year’s matriculants.

Crawford’s Dux Scholar for 2022, Gabriella Liontarides, who achieved a Full House of Distinctions, was awarded her Dux Scholar Trophy. This award is given to the Top Learner of the previous year’s matriculants.

They also announced the Interhouse Champions for 2022. A tremendous congratulations to Wahlberg, Crawford’s yellow house! The House captains; Deborah Mwila and Nkosana Senzo Modiba and Vice Captains; Maya Maseng and Phadishi Mashigo accepted the award on the night. They look forward to announcing the 2023 house winner!

The Acting Executive Body were officially inducted as Executives for 2023. The executive body represents the leaders of the school and act on behalf of the teachers in instilling Voice, Choice and Ownership as well as encouraging students to become ‘Future Changemakers’.

Crawford’s Dux Scholar for 2022, Gabriella Liontarides, who achieved a Full House of Distinctions, was awarded her Dux Scholar Trophy. This award is given to the Top Learner of the previous year’s matriculants.

The Judiciary for 2023 was also announced at the event. A big congratulations to Palesa Letsoalo, Tristan Hogins and Nkosana Senzo Modiba.

“With hard work and dedication we have no doubt that our students will achieve amazing results for 2023. We are so proud of our Crawfordians and wish them all the best for the year,” Lindsay van Boven concluded.
