The Toolbox Community Empowerment Hub successfully carried out a significant clean-up operation on January 8, despite initial delays due to rain.

According to the hub’s manager Andrew Holdsworth, their goal is to make a real impact in communities while also helping the people who stay in the shelter in Krugersdorp with money to pay for their beds by providing them with these kinds of jobs.

The organisers were present throughout the day, ensuring the initiative ran smoothly and providing hands-on support. The collective effort not only improved the physical environment but also strengthened the bonds within the community.

The Toolbox Initiative continues to set an example of how community-driven efforts can create lasting change.
