A night of ‘antici … pation’ at Rusty Hook

From the Time Wrap to endless laughs, it was a night of glorious debauchery under the stars.

Rusty Hook was transformed into a wild and whimsical wonderland straight out of The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Saturday, October 4.

Visitors arrived in their most creative outfits for a fun-filled movie night marking the 50th anniversary of the beloved classic, where fans gathered to celebrate its unforgettable blend of comedy, drama and cosmic chaos.

Under the stars, hosts AlterEgos thrilled the audience with an interactive performance that perfectly captured the cult classic’s wild spirit. Candles flickered, toast and cards flew through the air, and laughter echoed as man-made rain added to the mayhem.

As the film played on two large screens, the crowd couldn’t help but sing along, do the Time Warp, and join in the antics unfolding before them. AlterEgos organisers Dayle Mallinson and Meryl Rosenberg expressed their gratitude to their loyal fans for celebrating such milestones with them.

Everyone was free to be themselves, revelling in the pure joy that comes with celebrating something that has deeply impacted our lives,” Dayle proudly expressed.
