Sold-out fundraiser offers legendary support to CPF

Every note played and ticket sold turned the night into a community impact.

The Honeydew CPF hosted a sold-out fundraising event at Barnyard Theatre at Silverstar on November 1.

The show, titled Forever Legends, drew full support from residents, police members, security companies, and residents’ associations, with all proceeds going directly to the CPF and its volunteer patrollers.

Honeydew CPF’s public relations officer Michael Steyn described the night as more than just entertainment.

“It was an incredible night filled with energy, laughter, and community spirit. Seeing the community come together for a shared cause reminded us why we do what we do – to keep our neighbourhoods united and safe,” said Michael.

The lively performance kept the audience entertained throughout the evening. By the end of the show, the crowd was calling for more, proving that they enjoyed the show, and it was a memorable night for them.

According to Michael, every cent raised from ticket sales will go toward supporting community safety operations, including equipment and resources for local patrollers who volunteer their time to keep Honeydew safe.

Michael added that the CPF plans to host more events like this in the future.

“This won’t be the last show we host. The support from the community was incredible, and it’s clear that people want to be part of something positive and impactful,” he said.
