Kindness packed in every parcel

Curves continues its heartwarming tradition of donating food parcels annually to Baby Moses Sanctuary.

Curves Strubensvalley continued its long-standing tradition of generosity on December 3, donating food parcels to Baby Moses Sanctuary.

The donation, gathered through the gym’s monthly partners challenge and additional contributions from members, reflects a deeply rooted commitment that has grown steadily over the past 14 years. According to Curves owner Sue Forde, since the day Curves Strubensvalley opened its doors, the gym has chosen Baby Moses as one of its core community partners, offering not just support, but genuine friendship as well.

“We donated a fresh round of food parcels, toiletries, cleaning products, soft toys, and other much-needed items. The majority of the toys donated were either sewn by our members or donated. Donations are made regularly, every three to four months, ensuring that the children at the sanctuary receive consistent care and practical help. We are so grateful for our members and the Curves committee for their efforts and assistance with such amazing initiatives,” Sue says.

Lanie de Klerk, the founder of Baby Moses Sanctuary, expressed her gratitude to Curves for their loyalty and support throughout the many years they have been involved.

“Curves is one of our longest-standing members, and they have walked this journey as donors. That kind of commitment is rare, and we appreciate it more than words can say,” she says.
