Easter joy floods Wings’ women and children centre
The centre was blessed with Easter treats and a loving gesture of kindness.
The Easter spirit was alive and bountiful at the Wings of Inspiration Women and Children Centre on Tuesday, March 31, thanks to the Everyday Kindness Foundation and Hoërskool Roodepoort’s Amore team.
The centre, a haven for women and children, was buzzing with excitement as children embarked on an Easter egg hunt, searching high and low for colourful treats.

The event was more than just fun and games – it was a heartwarming display of community spirit. Clothing, stationery, snacks, and board games were also donated to the centre, bringing smiles to the faces of the kids and staff.

“We wanted to spread Easter joy and make the day special for these amazing kids,” said Sanay Ramsammy, founder of the foundation.

“Giving back to the community is part of our vision and mission. We partner with organisations like this to assist where we can.”
Heidi Harmse, the manager of the centre, was overwhelmed by the gesture.
“It’s amazing to see Hoërskool Roodepoort learners interacting with the children and sharing Easter love,” she said.
