2 winners walk away with brand-new cars

Excitement filled the air as the two women fetched their brand-new wheels from the dealership after a regular purchase and a Facebook competition ended in good news for them.

Two customers are celebrating after winning brand-new Toyota Vitz in OK Furniture’s Big Brands Car Giveaway.

The prize handover took place at CFAO Mobility Toyota Clearwater on Friday, August 14, as part of the nationwide rollout of the competition.

Among the winners was Lamla Tomsana, who said she was still shaking with excitement despite being informed weeks earlier that she had won.

“I’m happy. I still can’t believe it even though I’ve been told weeks back that I’ve won, but today it’s real,” she said.

Lamla entered through a Facebook challenge for the 16th car. Participants had to find three hidden keys on Facebook pages and match the letters on the keys to reveal the winning entry.

Fellow winner Nqobile Margaret Mahlangu said she entered after buying an air fryer for a friend at OK Furniture. “I’m still in disbelief, in all honesty. I’m more than happy,” she said.

Nqobile thanked OK Furniture and Skyworth, describing the prize as a major moment.

The giveaway ran from March 23 to May 24, with 16 Toyota Vitz vehicles awarded to winners across South Africa. The campaign formed part of OK Furniture’s annual Big Brands campaign and its 99th year of serving South African customers.
