The CPF urged the public to respect Paige and her family’s privacy and refrain from speculation or seeking further details about the circumstances surrounding the case.

The CPF also reminded residents that a missing-person case is an official police process and that information about a person being found should not be treated as confirmed until it has been authorised by police.

According to the CPF, part of the official process includes in-person verification of the missing person.

Members of the public are urged to avoid sharing unverified information while a missing-person case is still active.
