Learners share their Christmas traditions when at home

We all have different traditions for Christmas and five learners from the King's School Discovery share their traditions.

Learners from the King’s School Discovery shared their Christmas traditions for when they are at home.

“We love to camp in our back garden. I look forward to swimming with the family and eating delicious home-cooked meals,” said Kaiden Ndlovu.

“Every year I decorate our house with my mom and set up the tables by placing candy canes on the placemats. We celebrate and eat delicious pasta!” noted Madisson Swartz.

“I love to put some snacks out for Santa. He gets a full glass of cold milk and a big chocolate cookie on his plate! I decorate the Christmas tree with my mama,” said Cayde Benson.

“Christmas is one of the best times of the year when we get to celebrate Jesus’ birthday! Make that a tradition in your home!” added Nyakallo Thebehali.

Yadah Cupido says they travel to Cape Town every year to see their family.

“We make peppermint tart and Christmas cookies for us to eat,” Yadah explained.
