Young voices share their views on the new year

Learners from The King's School Discovery share what they are looking forward to in the new year.

• With the new year, learners from The King’s School Discovery explain what they are looking forward to:

“I’m so grateful that God blessed me to be in such an amazing school and to get to know so many new people and make new friends,” said Zia Botha.

“I made trials to wrestle in the African Championships in Egypt next year and if we get enough funds it will be an amazing experience to learn and grow in my wrestling journey and I can’t wait!” said Jessica Eager, a grade nine learner.

“I think it’s going to be the best year of my life. I just thank God for the opportunity to be going to the next grade,” said Gofaone Raditladi.

“I’m going to be looking to achieve my goals in health and fitness and hopefully be a better leader and excel in my academics,” concluded Domonick Haasbroek in grade 10.
