Learning curve for Constantia in fierce netball league match

The King's School took home a fair win after an action-packed league game.

A thrilling netball match between Constantia Kloof Primary and The King’s School West Rand left spectators and coaches clenching their fists to see which school would take the big win home.

Despite facing a formidable opponent, the junior teams gave their all and fought until the last whistle. The matches began with B teams taking to the court first while their teammates cheered them on as the first whistle blew. Steady as the first half of the game began, the coaches were quite hands-on with their girls, chanting from the sidelines to stick to their basic netball skills.

The first half of the U10 match ended with a 1–0 score, giving the players hope that they can dominate the game overall. The second half was met with a back-and-forth tussle between King’s School and Constantia, trying to score a goal. Constantia scored their second goal, which motivated King’s School to equalise it, resulting in a 2–2 draw at the end of the game.

The U10 A team was met with a tough battle against a very active goal attack, who led her team to victory with an 8–6 lead. As the final whistle blew, both teams showed respect and sportsmanship, acknowledging the skill and effort displayed on the courts.

Constantia’s players were already looking forward to their next match, eager to learn from their experience and return stronger.
