Young Pinnacle speaker impresses at competition

His achievement is the result of determination and confidence, and it also sets a good example for his peers.

A Grade Five learner from Pinnacle College Ridge View Primary School has been recognised for a strong debut performance at the Johannesburg Festival of the Arts, which took place in early May.

Cayde Sositeni represented the school in the Individual Public Speaking category. Competing for the first time, he was also the only boy in the Grade Five group. Even with the pressure of a first appearance on stage, Cayde delivered a confident and well-prepared speech, earning an A symbol for his performance.

Joanita Boshoff, the head of marketing and admissions at the school, said Cayde’s achievement shows both his commitment and his natural ability in communication and public speaking at the primary school level.

She added that the school is extremely proud of him and praised his confidence, courage, and dedication in representing the school at a well-known arts festival.
