Panorama Primary learners give back through community food drive
Panorama Primary School continued its commitment to serving the community by collecting food donations for a local charity as part of its ongoing outreach initiatives.
Panorama Primary School has once again demonstrated the power of compassion after successfully hosting a food drive aimed at supporting a local charity, marking the school’s second community donation campaign this year.
According to the deputy principal, Lenadi Pulella, the initiative forms part of the school’s ongoing commitment to giving back, with learners and staff working together to collect food items for those in need. The school selects a different charitable cause for each drive to ensure that a variety of organisations and communities benefit throughout the year.
“We aim to reach out to the community and support them. Every time we choose a different charity to donate to, so every campaign benefits a different organisation,” Lenadi said.
The school’s outreach efforts began with a sock drive before moving on to a canned food collection. The latest campaign continued the tradition of encouraging learners to make a meaningful difference through acts of kindness and generosity.
Panorama also shares the campaign with parents through its closed social media platforms, highlighting the impact of the learners’ contributions and reinforcing the importance of community involvement.
